College and Career Awareness: Manufacturing Technology and Engineering


Welcome! This class is part of a 4 class rotation for 7th graders and will last for 1 term of the year. Students have the options to take more in-depth semester long classes in the 8th and 9th grades.

In my CCA class, we explore the following career clusters and pathways by making things.

REQUIREMENTS:

In order to participate in shop activities, you will need the following:

  • A permission form SIGNED by you and your parent/guardian.  If you lost yours, you can print another copy here 
  • 100% correct on all safety tests
    • General shop and hand tool safety
    • Drill press safety
    • Bandsaw safety
    • Sander safety
  • Willingness to learn from mistakes (we will make a lot of them in this class)
